It is a weave, not a print or an embroidery. Because it is self toned, the pattern shows through light and shadow rather than through colour contrast.
A finer yarn count and the diamond structure itself, which uses fewer interlacing points per area than a dense plain weave. The silk in the blend also weighs less than wool for the same volume. No. This is an 85 percent fine wool and 15 percent silk blend. Pashmina is a specific cashmere fibre from Himalayan goats and carries a different price and different care requirements. We manufacture pashmina separately and label it as such, because fibre content on an export product has to be accurate.
